How it worksOur notary is IAL2 identity-proofed to the federal NIST standard — meaning the person notarizing your documents has been identity-verified to a federal assurance level, not merely credentialed. Sessions run on an industry-leading, state-approved RON platform relied upon by major title underwriters and lenders, where our 13,410 sessions and 31,529 seals are on record. Your documents are handled with bank-grade security, federally-standard identity assurance, and a legally recognized electronic notarial record.
We pair that infrastructure with responsive, detail-obsessed signing service — so you get enterprise-grade compliance without enterprise-grade friction.
Not marketing claims — verifiable credentials and a track record behind every signing.
On-demand notarization sessions, with 31,529 seals placed — a track record built across thousands of transactions.
The notary's own identity is verified to the federal NIST IAL2 standard — on the only notary platform that does this before issuing its secure digital certificates.
Tier standing on the Proof / Notarize Network — vetted and approved on the platform trusted across the title and lending industry.
Have questions about remote online notarization or loan signings? Here are some quick answers.
Yes. Remote online notarization (RON) is well established across the United States. Virginia enacted the first RON law in 2011, and today more than 45 states plus the District of Columbia have permanent RON laws. A document notarized by a properly commissioned online notary — such as a Florida RON notary — is generally recognized in other states, because a notarization is governed by the laws of the notary's commissioning state and is broadly honored under longstanding interstate-recognition principles (including the federal ESIGN Act). In practice, RON documents are accepted nationwide for most purposes. That said, final acceptance always rests with the receiving party (for example, a county recorder, lender, court, or agency), and a few document types or jurisdictions have specific requirements — so for high-stakes filings (certain real-estate recordings, or documents used abroad) we recommend confirming acceptance with the receiving party in advance. We're happy to help you check.
You only need a modern device with a camera, microphone, and internet connection—such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. No software downloads are required; the entire secure session is conducted in your web browser on the Proof platform.
For security, we utilize a multi-step verification process that includes: 1) credential analysis of your government-issued photo ID (where the system scans security features to verify authenticity) and 2) knowledge-based verification (KBA), which presents quick, standard identity questions based on public records.
It is a sworn statement (affidavit) where a digital asset holder attests under oath and verified identity to their control and custody of specific public wallet addresses, seed phrases, or exchange accounts. This creates a tamper-evident, legally enforceable notarial record that connects on-chain wealth with traditional offline estate plans, wills, or inheritance structures.
